Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Shuk Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), the New York limited liability company that owns and operates Cosapp.si. They cover the Cosapp.si app, Cosapp.si Pro, the cosapp.si website and the waitlist (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

The Service

Cosapp.si is a cosplay build planner: it tracks the pieces, tasks and budget of each costume, plans events and writes packing lists. The personal studio works on your device without an account. Private groups, when available, require free sign-in and store shared content on our servers, as described in the Privacy Policy. Cosapp.si Pro is an optional subscription that adds personal cloud backup, sync between your devices and extra group capacity, albums and exports. We may change, suspend or stop parts of the Service, and will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes. If we ever shut Pro down, we will give you notice and time to make sure your devices hold everything.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms on your behalf. Where your country sets a higher age for agreeing to the use of your data, that age applies to creating an account.

Accounts

You don’t need an account for the personal studio; Pro sync and private groups require one. If you create one, give accurate details, keep your sign-in methods secure and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time; see the account deletion instructions.

Your data and backups

The app keeps your personal studio content on your device. Without Pro sync, we hold no copy of that studio: if you lose, reset or replace your device, or uninstall the app, your content is gone unless you exported a backup. Export backups regularly and keep them somewhere safe. Browser storage and Pro sync are described in ourPrivacy Policy; see its retention detailsfor device data, synced records and photo files. We work to keep the cloud copy safe and available, but we can’t promise that data will never be lost, so a backup file of your own is still a good idea. Group content is cloud-first, with a separate offline cache; personal backup files do not include it. See private groups for shared-data handling.

Your content

You own what you put into Cosapp.si: your builds, notes, photos and everything else (“your content”). You give us a limited permission to store, copy, transmit and display your content only as needed to back it up, sync it between your devices, show it back to you and share explicitly chosen group content with that group’s members, for as long as it is in our service. We don’t publish your content, use it to advertise, or use it to train AI models.

You promise that you have the right to store the content you upload, including photos that show other people or were taken by someone else. Reference images you save for your own planning are your responsibility.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to break the law or to store unlawful content, including any sexual content involving minors;
• upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours, interfere with the Service, or upload malware;
• scrape the Service, overload it, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or get around its limits, security or billing; or
• misrepresent who you are or abuse our emails, for example by signing other people up to the waitlist.

Cosapp.si Pro subscriptions

• Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play, and paid for through your Apple or Google account. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy, and come from the store.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you start a free trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue them. Taxes are added where the store applies them.
• Prices can change. The store tells you first and, where its rules require, asks for your agreement.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the store as well.

Apple and Google

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, alongside these terms. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms apply to the download and to billing. These terms are between you and Shuk Labs LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, have no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and are not responsible for any claims about the app. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and are not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Other services

Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, the app stores and our service providers have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

Our intellectual property

The app, the website, the Cosapp.si name and logo, and their design and code belong to Shuk Labs LLC or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms. Every character, series and event shown in our marketing and sample data is invented. Cosapp.si is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any franchise, studio, publisher or event. Photos we use are credited on the image credits page.

Copyright and image removal

We respect other people’s rights. To ask us to remove an image from cosapp.si or the app, follow our image removal instructions. To report content stored with Cosapp.si that infringes your copyright, use the copyright complaint contact and requirements. We may remove or disable access to content that we reasonably believe infringes someone’s rights, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST. Budgets, schedules and packing lists in the app are planning aids; check what matters to you, such as event rules and prop policies, yourself.

Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SHUK LABS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR COSAPP.SI PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) US $100.

Some places don’t allow these limits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you will compensate Shuk Labs LLC for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that third parties bring because of your content or your breach of these terms.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it; unless the law or safety prevents it, we will tell you and give you a chance to export your content first. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, survive the end of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose consumer laws protect you, those mandatory protections still apply. Before starting a dispute, please email us so we can try to sort it out.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We post the new version here and change the date at the top, and for significant changes we tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using the Service after a change applies, the new terms apply to you. If you don’t agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t give it up. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over Cosapp.si, and will tell you if we do.
